Meet The Team: Amy Dimmock, Learning and Community Engagement Officer

Hi, I’m Amy the new Learning and Community Engagement Officer at the Huguenot Museum. I studied Classics and Archaeology at the University of Kent before completing my Museum Studies MA at Leicester University. I loved living in Kent so much I came back to the county to work as Assistant Curator at The Royal Engineers Museum in Brompton before starting at the Huguenot Museum. I volunteered and worked at a number of museums and heritage centres throughout my studies including Chiddingstone Castle and Bignor Roman Villa, which were great! I really enjoy getting crafty so working at the museum is perfect, especially as I get to run craft activities with schools and community groups. I love my work at the museum and am looking forward to all of next year’s events and activities!
