Postponed – Drypoint Etching with Heather Haythornthwaite

May 16 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

£50
This event is postponed until it is safe to do so. If you would like a refund please contact info@huguenotmuseum.org, or we will put you on a priority list for when we are able to start the workshops again.

Hablot Knight Browne better known as Phiz  illustrated some of Dickens’ most famous work, with expressive pen and ink drawings that were engraved and then printed. In this workshop you will have the chance to consider the importance of these images to the text, before having a go at making your own drypoint etched prints, using the same technology that the engravers and printers used in Dickens’ time. Create prints from your own drawings or be inspired by Phiz’s work.

This workshop includes lunch. Please book online.
