Researching Your French Ancestors

Huguenot refugees came from different parts of France.  Some travelled directly to Britain, others came via other European countries.  Historian, Kathy Chater, will help you find out more about their lives from archives in France but will also give some tips on researching their presence in other places en route.

Dr. Kathy Chater regularly gives talks here at the Museum and is well known as a family historian who has a special interest in Huguenot immigration and black British history. Her book Tracing Your Huguenot Ancestors is always for sale in our shop.

Price includes admission to the museum.
