The Huguenot Museum welcomes everyone. We ensure that all our galleries and events are accessible to all.

All areas of the museum have wheelchair access and a lift is available on the ground floor to take you to both the 1st and 2nd floors of the museum. An accessible toilet is located on the 2nd floor.

There is a coach pick-up/drop-off point at the rear of the building with ramped access.

For families with small children we have a baby change located on the 2nd floor and lifts to all areas. Should you need to leave your buggy somewhere let a member of staff know and we will assist. Some of our display cases are higher than others, if your child is struggling to see in the cases do let us know as we have mini steps available.

We also have lots of trails to keep little ones entertained during their visit. Download the trails here.

The museum has a number of objects for handling and we encourage all our visitors to touch and interact with these.

The size of font can be increased on all our interactive areas and large print guides of all our text are available on request.

If you require transcripts of any audio within the museum, please ask at reception.
If you are visually impaired and would like a guided tour of the galleries using our handling collection please call 01634 789347. Guide dogs are welcome in the museum.

For any other information or to discuss your access requirements before visiting please call 01634 789347.
