• Select Events on the left hand side
  • Click ‘Add New’ to add a new event
  • Enter the name of the event and a brief description
  • If tickets are being sold on Eventbrite you will need to go to the event in Eventbrite and find the option to embed the code – this is found under Manage > Widgets > Ticket Form
  • You will be provided with an iframe code. Copy the entire code.
  • If the event spans multiple dates check underneath the title at the top left of the Eventbrite admin screen. If you see a specific date there, then you first need to click “manage all dates” and then go to the “widgets” section and choose “ticket form” and cut and paste the code as normal.
  • In WordPress select the Text tab at the top right of the editing panel:

  • Underneath the text panel there are options to add the dates of the event and the location
  • You can also add organizer info if the event is being organized by someone other that the Huguenot Museum
  • Underneath this you can add the price of the ticket
  • On the right hand side of the main text editing panel tick the category(ies) that the event belongs to
  • You can add an image to the event using ‘featured image’
