September 12, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 11:30 am
This Heritage Open Day visit us for free!
Explore the galleries and discover the incredible story of the Huguenots, French Protestants who fled to England to escape persecution from the 1500s into the 1700s.
In the Museum you can also discover the story of The French Hospital, alms houses on Rochester High Street. Please note The French Hospital will not be open for Heritage Open Day this year.
Did you know that 1 in 6 English people may be descended from Huguenots? Ask on the day for more information and a form to delve into your own family history.
This event is free but you will need to book a time slot to visit. You can book a limited slot here or there will be spaces available to book on the day at the Museum. We would encourage you to come as early as possible on the day to book your slot. We are unable to take bookings over the phone.
